Steward's Report
Nova Girl and Get A Beer were quick to begin. Blazing Arnie was slow to begin.
Get A Beer, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to be displaying signs of cramping. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Owner Mr G. Glass regarding the greyhound's perfomance in the event. Mr Glass explained that the greyhound did not travel well and was down 800grams from its last start. Mr Glass added that it would be his intention to give the greyhound a let up before racing again. Mr Glass' comments were noted.
A post-race sample was taken from Rio Reef - winner of the event.
