Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 20 degrees and the kennel temperature 17.8 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
No Way Punk and Aston Jasper were slow to begin.
No Way Punk contacted the rail on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left hind leg. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
