Steward's Report
Extreme Rage and Shanlyn Hunter were quick to begin.
Spirit Energy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg tricep and pectoral injuries. A 10 day stand down was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. Cassandra Rademaker regarding Spirit Energy’s racing manners on the turn out of the back straight on the second occasion. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Spirit Energy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Rademaker pled guilty to the charge, Spirit Energy was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
