Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Shake And Treble.
Contralto and Jingle jangle were quick to begin.
Shake And Treble performed below market expectations, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury left hind quadriceps. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Ian Beattie regarding Shake and Treble overall performance in the event. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr. Beattie to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Shake And Treble in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
