Steward's Report
Ride Know More was quick to begin. Nibiru and Gypsy Ha Ha were slow to begin.
Gypsy Ha Ha turned its head to the outside entering the home straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following event 10. Gypsy Ha Ha was found to have injuries to the left hock and cervico-thoracic. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Lesley Russell regarding Gypsy Ha Ha’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Gypsy Ha Ha was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Russell pled guilty to the charge, Gypsy Ha Ha was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
