Steward's Report
El Cazador was slow to begin.
Aston Latham faltered at the 200m mark and tailed off, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following event 9. Aston Latham was found to have a right shoulder injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr James Van de Maat regarding Aston Latham's performance from the 200m mark. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr Van de Maat to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Aston Latham in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
