Steward's Report
Fabs Udon was slow to begin.
Stewards spoke to Mr Samuel Webb regarding the racing manners of Tame The Beast in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Webb, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
Orbital Bale veered out and marred Tinker Yvonne on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg wrist injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Zachary Gray, the representative of Orbital Bale regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Orbital Bale was charged with marring. Mr Gray pleaded guilty to the charge, Orbital Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
