Overshadowed was quick to begin. Cowboy Ethics, Sumerian and Finlaystone were slow to begin.
Overshadowed faltered turning off the back straight and lost considerable ground, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right long head triceps injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Limerance underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have left foreleg spike wound. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
