Steward's Report
Stealth was quick to begin. Aragog and Collinda Chiips were slow to begin.
Osprey Rose faltered in the front straight, tailed off, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 9. Osprey Rose was found to have right gracilis muscle, right calf muscle and right groin muscle injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. Harrison Goss regarding Osprey Rose's performance in the event. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr. Goss to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Osprey Rose in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
A post-race sample was taken from Elite Alex - the winner of the event.
