Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 25.8 degrees and the kennel temperature were 17.5 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
There was no vision available for this event.
Your Colour Room – Late scratching at 8.20am due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards advised Ms Jessica Shill that evidence of the non-arrival will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. Supplementary Advice - The Stewards lifted the penalty late today after receiving confirmation of the non-presentation reasons.
