Radebe – Late scratching at 9.02am due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Steven Van Oirschot informed Stewards that he had a trailer breakdown when transporting Radebe. Stewards advised Mr Van Oirschot that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Wadelock Harry – New declared weight of 34.8kg, last raced at 36.1kg.

Mileena and Exiled were quick to begin. Wadelock Harry was slow to begin.

Coalville Girl - Trainer Steven Van Oirschot advised Stewards that Coalville Girl was also being transported this morning when he had a trailer breakdown, also involving Radebe from race 3. Stewards advised Mr Van Oirschot that Coalville Girl will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Hurricane Daisy was quick to begin. Aussie Annie and Letter To You were slow to begin.

East On Henry was quick to begin.

Aston Jive was quick to begin. Big City Nights and Tuzla Bale were slow to begin.

Big City Nights - collided with Tuzla Bale when entering the first turn, became unblanced and shifted wide on the turn. Underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left hind pad. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Kennel Representative, Mr Malcolm Carr regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr Carr, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

A post-race sample was taken from Busy Time - the winner of the event. 

Starter's King was slow to begin.

Sazan Bale - commenced to lose ground when approaching the turn out of the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Director – Late scratching at 3.11pm by Order of Stewards, pursuant to GAR 78 (1) (b). Aston Director is prohibited from competing in any Event until the Stewards are satisfied that the basis upon which the scratching was made no longer exists.

A pre–race sample was taken from Secret Key.

Rebel May Road was slow to begin.

Jessica Pearson – Late scratching at 2.14pm due to the greyhound being on season GAR 77. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

We Dance and She's Roses were quick to begin. 

Victory Indi – Late scratching at 3.12pm by Order of Stewards, pursuant to GAR 78 (1) (b). Victory Indi is prohibited from competing in any Event until the Stewards are satisfied that the basis upon which the scratching was made no longer exists.

Guster Bale – The frequency of racing was discussed with Mr Luke Harris the comments were noted. A pre-race sample was taken. 

Nangar Peppa was slow to begin.

A post-race sample was taken from Tower Bell - the winner of the event. 

Quinnley Bale - severely checked when approaching the turn out of the back straight and lost ground. Underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Good Boy Colombo Late scratching at 18:03pm on the advice of the On– Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to an elevated temperature. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Hurrcane max was slow to begin. Enraged was very slow to begin (4 Lenghts)
