Steward's Report
Nyali King was quick to begin. Bang On Blue was slow to begin.
Emma's Portrait (lost ground in the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr J.Dean regarding the racing manners of Gus The Bus on the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr Dean, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.
A post–race sample was taken from Nyali King – the winner of the event.
