Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6) Starter Ms. D. Robertson did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Blackpool Ruth and Siala Giblet were quick to begin. Mister Banjo was slow to begin.
Spartan Legend underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Representative Mr. Dustin Drew declined the option to have the greyhound re–vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr. Drew regarding Spartan Legend’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Spartan Legend was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Drew pled guilty to the charge, Spartan Legend was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
