Rita Bale was quick to begin. Dundee Fidget was slow to begin.
Fabs Wasabi (marred Rita Bale in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr B. Keel regarding Fabs Wasabi's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Fabs Wasabi was charged with marring. Mr Keel pled guilty to the charge, Fabs Wasabi was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Unacceptable Sid (fell after the finish) underwent a post-race veterinary - no apparent injury reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Mystic Moment - the winner of the event.
