Kanji Quebec eased approaching the winning post.
Kanji Quebec underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was revetted following race 6 and was found to have a left long head tricep injury.. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to representative Tom Dailly regarding Kanji Quebec's racing manners approaching the winning post.. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125,Kanji Qubec was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Dailly pled guilty to the charge, Kanji Quebec was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
