Steward's Report
Milkman Neil – Late scratching at 2:44pm by Order of Stewards in the best interests of greyhound racing, pursuant to GAR 19 (4)(b). On 16 December 2022, Milkman Neil was issued an "Early Race" endorsement and as a result, Milkman Neil should only compete in early races (Races 1 to 6).
Stewards interviewed Mr. Correy Grenfell, the trainer of Tiggerlong Gas in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal from this race. Stewards were satisified of the scratching reason (by reason of injury) in regards to the withdrawal of Tiggerlong Gas and took no further action.
Maximum Sam (faltered and tailed off approaching the home turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and deemed it satisfactory for racing
