Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Mahogany Flame.
Gogo Lillian and Westside Wonder were quick to begin. Has Her Party was slow to begin.
Gogo Lillian (visibly eased approaching the first turn) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid and left triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr B. Jacobs regarding Gogo Lillian’s racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Gogo Lillian was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Jacobs pled guilty to the charge, Gogo Lillian was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
