Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6) Kennel Attendant, Ms Georgie Moate, did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Oswald's Delight and Flying Jarrad were quick to begin.
Miss Tingles lost ground approaching the first turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Oswald's Delight lost ground approaching the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Robert Hayes regarding Miss Tingles's performance and racing manners approaching the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr Hayes, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Miss Tingles unsatisfactory. Miss Tingles must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
