Steward's Report
Vans Turbo was quick to begin. Inga Mark, Bodhicitta and Solar Revel were slow to begin.
Bodhicitta marred Inga Mark in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right groin muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Gerald Lanigan regarding Bodhicitta’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Bodhicitta was charged with marring. Mr Lanigan pled guilty to the charge and Bodhicitta was suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race blood sample was taken from Vans Turbo - winner of the event
