Steward's Report
Mac Rooster was slow to begin.
Mac Rooster lost ground from the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a injuries to the left wrist and left flexor tendon. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Ronald Winter regarding the greyhound's performance in the event. After hearing submissions from Mr Winter, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Mac Rooster unsatisfactory. Mac Rooster must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted. Acting in accordance with GAR 129(b), Stewards ordered Mr Winter to produce a veterinary certificate of clearance prior to the greyhound being eligible to compete in an event.
