Kid Malawi - New declared weight of 33.7kg, last raced at 32.6kg.
Tibia was quick to begin.
Kid Malawi faltered soon after the start, tailed off, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Tibia - the winner of the event.
Chop – Was ordered to wear an anti–aggression muzzle in all future events in accordance with GAR 131.
