Rule The Galaxy and Twisted Bliss were slow to begin.
Rule The Galaxy (turned it's head inwards in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to both back muscles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr James Forbes regarding Rule The Galaxy’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Rule The Galaxy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Forbes pled guilty to the charge, Rule The Galaxy was found guilty and suspended for three months at all tracks and must perform two Satisfactory Trials in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
