Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 23.5 degrees and the kennel temperature were 17.8degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
Forbes Surprise – New declared weight of 26.3 last raced at 28.0.
Pursuant to GAR 75(6) Starter - Ms. D. Robertson, did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Moraine Chloe was quick to begin.
Set To Jet was severely checked on the first turn and fell as a result, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left hamstrings injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
It was noted that the muzzle of Set To Jet became dislodged during the running of the event.
