Chapel Road was quick to begin. Call Me Marley, Indy Fido and Go Undertaker were slow to begin.
Kanji Exiled (contacted the running rail entering the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right calf injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Go Undertaker (checked and lost ground entering the turn off the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
