Forward Step underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainers request and was found to have a torn nail . A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Who's The Sister, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hip injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Kenneth Howat regarding Who's The Sister’s performance and racing manners from the 250 metre mark. After hearing submissions from Mr. Howat, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Who's The Sister unsatisfactory. Who's The Sister must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
