Steward's Report
Udella Bale – Late scratching at 6.08pm due to the greyhound being on season [GAR 77]. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Julipa Bale and Miss Indi Lee were quick to begin.
Miss Indi Lee (turned head inwards in home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr N. Lecchino regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Miss Indi Lee was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Lecchino pled guilty to the charge. Miss Indi Lee was suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
