Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Manuka Boy upon arrival at the course.
Magic Eyeliner and Manuka Boy were quick to begin.
Pirate Kingsley was slow to begin. Zigg Boy began awkwardly at box rise and was subsequently slow to begin. Stewards were comfortably satisfied with the positioning of Zippy Boy's head at the start, with the loss of footing at box rise being the contributing factor, and noted it as a racing incident.
Pirate Kingsley underwent a post–race veterinary examination after contacting the running rail when turning out of the back straight. It was found to have a left hock and thigh injury with a 7 day stand down period being imposed.
