Old Mate severely checked approaching the 250m mark, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Burning Liquor severely checked at the 250m mark and fell, a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left sesamoid injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Desley severely checked at the 250m mark and fell, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a cervical fracture injury. Desley was humanely euthanised.
