Steward's Report
Average Cogs went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.
Inter Barty turned it's head inwards in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right carpal sprain injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Tony Interligi regarding Inter Barty’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Inter Barty was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Interligi pleaded guilty to the charge, Inter Barty was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
