Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Whose Mat upon arrival at the course.
A pre–race sample was taken from Conroy.
Conroy was quick to begin. Soleus was slow to begin.
Big Buddha underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Danny Cortese regarding the performance of Big Buddha. Mr. Cortese submitted to Stewards the greyhound was outgraded in the event, that he intends to nominate for more suitable races and apply for an early race request in future. In addition to hearing these submissions, viewing available race footage, and having their own observations, stewards took no further action. Stewards will monitor the greyhound's performance in future starts.
