Steward's Report
Ebony Magic and Pat May Joy were slow to begin.
Afro Puff underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to racing frequency – no apparent injury was reported.
Rockin' Diamonds turned its head outwards, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right flexor tendon. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Kennel Representative Mrs J. Fullerton regarding Rockin' Diamonds racing mannersin the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Rockin' Diamonds was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs Fullerton pled guilty to the charge and Rockin' Diamonds was suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
