Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Storm Stroller upon arrival at the course.
Mr P. Bartolo requested an early race endorsement for Storm Stroller. The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on–track veterinarian. Storm Stroller will compete in early races until further notice.
Compliance was quick to begin.
Commission underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind leg, no stand down penalty was applied. Stewards spoke to Trainer - Mr. R. Henness regarding Commission's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125,Commission was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Henness pled guilty to the charge, Commission was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
