Golden Hands and Elite Jet were quick to begin.
Rule The Galaxy failed to pursue the lure with due commitment approaching the home turn and again in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 11, no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Mason Koffman regarding Rule The Galaxy's racing manner approaching the home turn and in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Rule The Galaxy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Koffman pleaded guilty to the charge, Rule The Galaxy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
