Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Mr. Fitty.
The announcement of the All Clear was delayed for the Stewards to review the positioning of the lure on the first turn. After viewing the footage and having their own observations of the incident, the Stewards were comfortably satisfied that whilst the lure was less than 5 metres ahead of the leading greyhound on the first turn, no greyhounds were advantaged or disadvantaged so as to affect the outcome of the Event. The All Clear was posted.
My Name's Karen was quick to begin. Mr. Fitty was slow to begin.
Kaniva Swifty was severely checked turning out of the back straight and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
