Steward's Report
Gino Rose and Lakeview Jet were slow to begin.
Our Darling shifted out on the home turn and collided with Omega Morgan and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Ms Jennifer Gieschen regarding the racing manners of Our Darling on the home turn. After hearing submissions from Ms Gieschen, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Gino Rose marred Our Darling in the home straight and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Jeffrey Chignell regarding Gino Rose racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Gino Rose was charged with marring. Mr Chignell pled guilty to the charge, Gino Rose was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
