Steward's Report
A sample was taken from All Spritzed Up upon arrival at the course.
Dundee Smokey and Yasmin Belle were quick to begin. Cindy's Kyle was slow to begin.
Aston Jackson - faltered on the turn off the back straight and pulled up taking no further part in the running of the event, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right radius/ulna. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Yasmin Belle underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mrs A Dailly regarding Yasmin Belles’s racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Yasmin Belle was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs A Dailly declined a revet and pled guilty to the charge, Yasmin Belle was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
