Franky Intention underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. O'Neill regarding the racing manners of Franky Intention approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. T. O'Neill, viewing the available race footage, and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
