Fend Them Off and Finch were quick to begin. Joffa's Neptune was slow to begin.
Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Peter Fulton regarding Ajmer pulling up prior to the return gate and failing to enter the catching pen. After hearing evidence from Mr Fulton, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued against the greyhound for failing to enter the catching pen.
