A pre–race sample was unable to be obtained from Maniac Moo, a post–race sample was subsequently taken.
Raving Icon was quick to begin.
Stewards issued a warning pursuant to GAR 81(1) to handler Mr Cameron Knott, after the greyhound Especial Harvey escaped the handler at the starting boxes prior to the running of this race. The greyhound was vetted and passed fit to race. After hearing submissions from Mr Knott, he was reminded of his responsibilities in accordance with GAR 81(1).
Especial Harvey tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Selma Slick contacted the running rail approaching the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
