Steward's Report
Gotham Duke – Late scratching at 6.01pm due to non–arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mrs. M. Lithgow informed Stewards that she had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mrs Lithgow that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
A pre-race sample was taken from Al's Shout.
Siren Head, Teddy Logan and Mystic Rose collided soon after the start. Siren Head checked off Plumb approaching the home turn.
Supplementary Advice: On Thursday 31 March 2022, the Stewards received evidence to their satisfaction that confirmed vehicle breakdown and in accordance with GAR 31, the 28 day stand-down was lifted on Gotham Duke.
