Superb - Slow to begin. Visibly eased approaching the home turn and shifted wide. Vetted - no injury. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr G. Mitchell regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Superb was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Mitchell pleaded not guilty to the charge. Superb was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only. Superb must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
