Mick The Magpie – New declared weight of 31.1kg, last raced at 32.7kg.

Pixie Princess was quick to begin. Sekola was slow to begin. Lily The Thief went up with the lids and lost ground.

Sekola and Lily The Thief collided soon after the start. Sekola and Kikona raced wide on the home turn. 

Fascinate Aussie and Bern's Ability were quick to begin.

Bern's Ability and Blazing Penny collided soon after the start, checking Blazing Penny. Who Did That checked off Audacious Stell on the first turn. Audacious Stell and Bern's Ability collided approaching the home turn, checking Bern's Ability. Audacious Stell and Aston Sebring collided on the home turn, checking Aston Sebring. Who Did That, Bern's Ability, Audacious Stell and Aston Sebring collided entering the home straight, checking Aston Sebring, Bern's Ability, Audacious Stell and Blazing Penny.

Audacious Stell underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Bern's Ability underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left elbow and right foreleg sesamoid. A 14 day stand down period was imposed

Perfect Colour and Werina Express were quick to begin. Orson Mick and Aston Ziebell were slow to begin.

Yozo Bale was quick to begin. Substantial and Show Me Ziway were slow to begin. 

Black Avenger checked off Yozo Bale on the first turn. Aston Profit and Body Hack collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Black Avenger and Zivon Bale collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Body Hack galloped on Aston Profit on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Black Avenger raced wide on the home turn. 

Aston Profit underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions and contusions on the right hind leg.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Just Like Mick was quick to begin.

Just Like Mick, Snapper Smith, Dream Wizard and Zipping Scorcher collided soon after the start, checking Snapper Smith, Dream Wizard and Zipping Scorcher. Aston Merit and Do It collided soon after the start. Aston Merit galloped on Shima Pearl approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Caroline and Masked Avenger collided approaching the first turn. Caroline checked off Masked Avenger on the first turn. Masked Avenger galloped on Rocky Horror entering the home straight. 

A sample was taken from Maxwell upon arrival at the course.

Struck Gold and City Monelli collided soon after the start, checking City Monelli. City Monelli, Maxwell and Usman Bale collided in the back straight. Peaky Pub and Usman Bale collided approaching the home turn, checking Peaky Pub. 

City Monelli underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right hock injury.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Arran Victory – Late scratching at 12.34pm when Trainer Mr A. Azzopardi reported the greyhound to be injured.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Sydney Monelli was quick to begin.

Nihari Bale checked off Ephemeral on the first turn. High Action checked off Nihari Bale approaching the home turn. Aston Lights checked off Sydney Monelli approaching the home turn and collided with Ephemeral. Aston Lights checked off Ephemeral on the home turn. 

Tough LIke Atom – Late scratching at 10am when Trainer Ms S. Evans reported the greyhound to have a foot injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Jasper Bale and Bad Bailey were quick to begin. Basmati and Mini Thunder were slow to begin. 

Aston Shadow, Basmati and Zambora Bear collided on the first turn. Mini Thunder and Bad Bailey collided on the first turn. Blue Raspberry galloped on Mini Thunder on the first turn, colliding with Zambora Bear,  checking Blue Raspberry and Zambora Bear. Mini Thunder and Bad Bailey collided in the home straight.
