Mighty Boris was a late scratching at 11:40 on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
On Flyer was quick to begin. Akina Akeira and Zap And Yap were slow to begin. Ellava Flyer and Zap And Yap collided approaching the first turn. Ellava Flyer checked off Zap And Yap on the first turn. Van Gerwen and Select Jess collided on the first turn. Van Gerwen and Red Rambler collided on the first turn. On Flyer and Akina Akeira collided on the home turn. Zap And Yap crossed to the rail entering the home straight.
