Steward's Report
Flushette, Miss Safari, Proven Looper and Mepunga Mission were slow to begin. Flushette checked off Hello Stranger soon after the start. Miss Safari, Proven Looper and Mepunga Mission collided soon after the start. Miss Safari and Proven Looper collided on the first turn checking Flushette. Mepunga Mission faltered approaching the second turn and tailed off as a result. Miss Safari and Proven Looper collided approaching the second turn and on the second turn, checking both greyhounds. Miss Safari checked off Proven Looper on the third turn.
Mepunga Mission was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the right hock, and was humanely euthanised.
