Draw Bar was a late scratching at 16:24 on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Omega Clover was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 3, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Harper, the trainer of Omega Clover regarding the greyhound's performance in tohight's event.  After taking into consideration the interference suffered and Omega Clover having its second race start, Stewards issued a warning against the greyhound's performance.

Aerial Blitz and Stealthy Shadow were slow to begin.  Mahalo, Aerial Blitz and Stealthy Shadow collided on the first turn checking Aerial Blitz.  Miss Su Chi checked off Osiris approaching the home turn.  Burning Wreck, Miss Su Chi and Lefty Burner collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Reen's Prince and Miss Su Chi collided entering the home straight checking Miss Su Chi.  Burning Wreck and Lefty Burner collided approaching the winning post.

Miss Su Chi was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Dyna Quote, Ambergris Lady and Jagman were slow to begin.  Sonny's Magic, Beamus and Ambergris Lady collided soon after the start.  Lady Magic, Sonny's Magic, Beamus and Ambergris Lady collided approaching the first turn checking Lady Magic and Sonny's Magic.  Lady Magic checked off Sonny's Magic on the first turn and stumbled as a result in turn colliding with Dyna Quote severely checking Lady Magic and Dyna Quote.  Beamus and Ambergris Lady collided approaching the home turn checking Ambergris Lady.

Musmacro Star was quick to begin.  Charlie Spitz was slow to begin.  Macalister Mary crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Where's Asha severely checking Norrie's Antics.  Musmacro Star and Macalister Mary collided entering the back straight checking Musmacro Star.  Where's Asha and Fairy Lace collided on the second turn checking Fairy Lace.  Charlie Spitz checked off Fairy Lace approaching the home turn.  Charlie Spitz checked off Musmacro Star approaching the home turn.  Where's Asha and Bark Simpson collided on the home turn checking Bark Simpson severely checking Where's Asha which stumbled.

Swansea Sands, Darbain Dasher, Dewana Babe and Reckless Charm collided soon after the start checking Darbain Dasher.  Miss Monteya, My Jack Rabbit and High Market collided approaching the first turn.  My Jack Rabbit checked off Miss Monteya approaching the second turn.  High Market and Reckless Charm collided approaching the second turn.  Swansea Sands, Darbain Dasher and Salegrey's Late collided on the second turn checking Swansea Sands and Darbain Dasher.  Darbain Dasher checked off High Market approaching the home turn.

High Market was vetted  and after being re-vetted following event 7, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Azza Azza Azza was quick to begin.  Pita Milo and Vintage Warrior collided soon after the start.  Vintage Warrior clipped the heels of Pita Milo on the first turn checking Pita Milo severely checking Vintage Warrior; Vintage Warrior fell as a result and was tailed off.

Harvey Pincher, Serash Bale and Early Notice were slow to begin.  Serash Bale stumbled soon after the start.  Indiarco faltered in the back straight and subsequently tailed off.  Go Hootie and Harvey Pincher collided on the second turn.  Go Hootie clipped the heels of Early Notice approaching the home turn and fell as a result.  Serash Bale checked off Early Notice on the home turn.

Go Hootie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Indiarco was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Hurricane Harley and Phenomenal collided soon after the start checking Hurricane Harley.  Phenomenal and Leesa Benz collided approaching the first turn.  Feikuai Zack and Phenomenal collided approaching the first turn.  Phenomenal checked off Feikuai Zack on the first turn.

Phenomenal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

When questioned with regard to Phenomenal's performance in tonight's event, handler Mr. K. Lunson stated that the greyhound had received interference on a number of occasions in the early stages of the race which, in his opinion, affected the greyhounds momentum. He added that Phenomenal had finished the race off strongly. Stewards noted his explanation and took no further action.

Mr. P. Scott-Smith, trainer of Dimandu redeclared a new weight of 33.0 for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Dimandu last raced at 31.6.

Happy Outlook was quick to begin.  My Tab and Sonny's Salute were slow to begin.  Beyond Brooklyn crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Winston Rose, Dimandu and Alderaan.  Dimandu checked off Winston Rose on the first turn.  Winston Rose checked off Sonny's Salute on the first turn.  My Tab and Blue Flute collided approaching the home turn.  My Tab, Winston Rose and Blue Flute collided approaching the home turn.  Dimandu checked off Blue Flute on the home turn.  My Tab raced wide in the home straight.

Blue Flute was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right dew claw, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Radar Bandit was slow to begin.  Seeya Saturday and Serious Darcy collided soon after the start.  Serious Darcy and Radar Bandit collided soon after the start checking Radar Bandit.  Seeya Saturday checked off Pocket Of Dreams on the first turn checking Serious Darcy.  Allen Yakra checked off Pocket Of Dreams approaching the home turn.  Allen Yakra and Radar Bandit collided approaching the home turn.  Allen Yakra checked off Radar Bandit entering the home straight.

Mr. K. Height, the trainer of Thunderlips redeclared a new weight of 31.4 for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Thunderlips last raced at 30.0.
