Steward's Report
Naomi Rose and Closing Time collided soon after the start. Herodium, Granola Bale and Reverend Matchy collided approaching the first turn. Herodium, Granola Bale, Reverend Matchy and Magnum Oasis collided on the first turn checking Granola Bale, Reverend Matchy and severely checking Closing Time and Magnum Oasis. Granola Bale and Dark Warrior collided on the home turn. Granola Bale and Herodium collided in the home straight. Naomi Rose raced wide in the home straight.
Cee Ronaldo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to it's right calf. No stand down period was imposed.
Naomi Rose was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 12, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Morris - Flynn, the trainer of the greyhound Naomi Rose. Stewards deemed the performance of Naomi Rose unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Naomi Rose must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
