Flaming Bob was a late scratching at 6:28pm by Order of Stewards. Stewards spoke to registered trainer, Mr. D. Field regarding the circumstances pertaining to the late scratching of Flaming Bob. Upon hearing the evidence, Stewards charged Mr. Field in breach of GAR 86(o) in that he presented the incorrect greyhound for its engagement; which in the opinion of Stewards was negligent. Mr. Field pleaded guilty to the charge. Stewards found Mr. Field guilty as charged and fined him the sum of $150. Stewards in determining penalty took into account Mr. Field's impeccable record over a long period of involvement in the industry.
