Steward's Report
Cobalt Kaos was slow to begin. Kerser, Not So Cheap, Absolute Leeder and Quiver's Ace collided soon after the start checking Quiver's Ace. Kerser, Not So Cheap and Absolute Leeder collided approaching the first turn severely checking Kerser. Beyond Resolve, Cobalt Kaos, Quiver's Ace and Classy Tulip collided approaching the home turn checking Quiver's Ace and Classy Tulip. Beyond Resolve and Kerser collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight. Classy Tulip and Indigo Boris collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Mark Mihailovic and issued a warning after he engaged an unlicensed person to kennel the greyhound Beyond Resolve. In assessing penalty, Stewards took into account that Mr Mihailovic was unable to kennel the greyhound due to illness and that there was a miscommunication in to who was to kennel the greyhound, and that the greyhound was able to be kennelled by a licensed person.
Meeting Comments:
Satisfactory trial result - Tricky Zorro trialled over the 400m from box 1, weight 33.8kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.75, the greyhound was beaten won by a margin of 2.25L Tricky Zorro was cleared.
Rinoa Bale trialled over the 400m from box 3, weight 27.0kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.75, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of a head. Rinoa Bale was cleared .
Monday Rose trialled over the 400m from box 5, weight 26.7kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.75, the greyhound was won by a margin of head. Monday Rose was cleared.
