Meeting Comments:
Trainer, Mr Alfred King presented Mahogany Jet to the Stewards at Ballarat today after the weight recorded at this greyhound’s last start at Ballarat on 16.2.22 appeared to be erroneously recorded. The matter could only be resolved satisfactorily by checking the greyhound’s actual weight. After being identified and weighed on–site today, it clearly established that the weight recorded at the greyhound’s last start could not possibly have been correct and it would be entirely unreasonable to not rectify the matter. Under the provisions of GAR 38(1) the Stewards deemed it necessary to make such order that 30.6kg will be officially recorded as the correct weight at Mahogany Jet's last start.
