Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Tiggerlong Gas was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Eadie, Flaming Pepper and Dundee Cotton collided on the first turn.  Dundee Cotton and Eadie collided approaching the second turn, severely checking Eadie.  Rocky Horror visibly eased approaching the home turn.  Trenzal Ore and Tiggerlong Gas collided approaching the winning post.

Rocky Horror was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 3.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left back muscle and right hamstrings, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr A. Xern, regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.   Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Rocky Horror was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Xern pleaded guilty to the charge, Rocky Horror was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Feel The Thunder, Chasing Honey and Grawlix collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Chasing Honey.  Aston Paquin and Pirate Lee collided on the first turn checking Pirate Lee.  Grawlix galloped on Pirate Lee on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds.  Chasing Honey raced wide in the home straight.

Aston Ziebell and Just Like Mick were slow to begin.  Tomida, Story Unfolds, Hurricane Harry and Alter Paddy collided on the first turn checking Tomida.  Aston Ziebell and Alter Paddy collided approaching the second turn.  Aston Ziebell and Story Unfolds collided on the second turn, severely checking Story Unfolds.  Alter Paddy and Tomida collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn causing Tomida to contact the running rail and lose ground as a result.  Aston Ziebell and Hurricane Harry collided entering the home straight.

Tomida was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Lembor was quick to begin.  Dinkydi Asset and Blueberry Hill were slow to begin.  Currawong, Storm To Burn, Charmed and Gypsy Andy collided on the first turn.  Charmed and Gypsy Andy collided on the first turn.  Dinkydi Asset brushed the inside running rail approaching the home turn.  McIvor Ernie shifted out and raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

McIvor was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Eat My Dust was quick to begin.  Gintoki Bale and Lola Coaster were slow to begin.  Midnight Vandal, Mr. America, Reiko Haze, Chop Scotch, South Song and Lola Coaster collided soon after the start.  Reiko Haze, Chop Scotch, South Song and Lola Coaster all lost ground as a result.  Chop Scotch and Lola Coaster collided on the first turn.  Eat My Dust checked off Reiko Haze and collided with Chop Scotch on the home turn.

Meeting Comments: Acting under GAR 20 (3) (n), the Stewards expelled and excluded Registered Participant Mr Mitchell White from the race meeting due to an incident that occurred when entering the venue. An inquiry will be conducted into the matter at a date and time to be fixed.
